The wife of illegal immigrant and MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego-Garcia of El Salvador is begging the Trump administration to bring him back to Maryland despite previously filing a domestic abuse restraining order against him.
The official Homeland Security 𝕏 account on Wednesday posted documents showing Garcia’s wife accused him in 2021 of punching and scratching her in addition to ripping the shirt off her back.
DHS wrote, “Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a history of violence and was not the upstanding ‘Maryland Man’ the media has portrayed him as. According to court filings, Garcia’s wife sought a domestic violence restraining order against him, claiming he punched, scratched, and ripped off her shirt, among other harm. This MS-13 gang member is not a sympathetic figure.”
Despite the allegations of violence, Garcia’s wife is now crying to the media about how her husband is supposedly the pawn of President Trump’s “political games” and is begging the administration to bring her allegedly abusive husband home.
The news comes amid a major controversy surrounding the deportation of Garcia with mainstream media claiming he “was wrongly deported” back to his home country last month.
However, as Trump, AG Pam Bondi and others have repeatedly noted, the Salvadoran illegal was ordered to be deported by two separate judges who also concluded he was part of the foreign terrorist organization MS-13.
During a trip to the White House on Monday, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele told reporters he will not be sending Abrego-Garcia back to the U.S. or setting him free in El Salvador.
Bukele asked a journalist, “I suppose you’re not suggesting that I smuggle a terrorist into the United States, right? How can I smuggle – how can I return him to the United States? Like, I smuggle him into the United States, or what do I do? Of course, I’m not going to do it.”
Asked by another reporter about releasing Garcia in El Salvador, Bukele added, “I mean, we’re not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country.”
Trump administration Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt railed against Democrat and media outrage over the deportation during a Tuesday press conference, saying that based on coverage “from many of the people” standing in front of her, people would think the illegal alien criminal who has been hiding out in Maryland was “a candidate for father of the year.”
Fox News host Jesse Watters spoke with Trump advisor Stephen Miller about the ongoing saga with Garcia Tuesday night, mocking U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) for defending the Salvadoran invader.
